Famous Fortnite: Battle Royale Twitch streamer Tyler Blevins also known as “Ninja” is under fire on social media for false accussing a player of stream sniping.

In his recent stream, Ninja publicly accused a player named “IcyFive” of stream sniping, or watching his twitch stream to figure out his location in fortnite, A post on Reddit gained traction yesterday in support of IcyFive with the title, “This poor player is about to get banned [be]cause he emoted,” and an attached video of Ninja reporting him to Epic Games for stream sniping.

Ninja thought that IcyFive was stream sniping due to him using an emote shortly after he killed ninja in Fortnite. His stream partner, Ben Lupo also known as “DrLupo”, coincidentally said “emote” right before IcyFive used one. Considering how the use of an emote is fairly commonplace in game Fortnite, but apparently the entire situation was a complete coincidence.

IcyFive responded with a YouTube video defending himself to Ninja accusing him of doing stream sniping.
“I don’t know why you raged, and called me an idiot. And you said you were going to try to get me banned.” IcyFive said on Twitter to Ninja.

“I know that you can get me banned [be]cause of how much power you have within Epic. You are the face of Fortnite.” He follows.

After all of that, things seem to have calmed down between Ninja and IcyFive. But users on Reddit’s /r/FortniteBR and /r/LivestreamFail subreddits are still attacking Ninja for his overreaction. There were also a number of memes and videos popping up on Reddit about Ninja saying.
“You gotta love when there’s proof.”
