Have you ever wondered what to do when you have stiff neck or neck pains? Do you have any knowledge of how to stretch or exercise your neck?
If no, then this article will teach you how to stretch your neck properly to ease any pain you have in your neck.
However, if you are in a lot of pain right now or experiencing chronic neck pain, or suffered a neck injury, it is highly advised to head to your medical professional before trying these neck exercises.
1.) Turning your head slowly from left to right and vice versa
These exercise works perfectly if you’re in the office while sitting. You can do this by just rotating your head slowly from left to your right and hold your stretch for 10 to 30 seconds.
Do this rotation for 5 to 10 times, do not stress out your neck and just keep it slow.
2.) Shrugging and Shoulders Rotation
Do this neck work out with your head in a neutral position and with your shoulders relaxed. Gently raise your shoulders towards your ears and hold them shrug for 5 seconds. Then gently rotate them backward and down to return to the relaxed position. Repeat this exercise for 10 times.
3.) Side Bend Neck Rotation
Do this neck work out with your head again in a neutral position and with your shoulders relaxed. Keeping your shoulders still, gently tilt your head to the left and bring your left ear closer to your left shoulder as close as you comfortably can, and hold the stretch for around 15-20 seconds.
