Studies have shown that working out daily even for less than 15 minutes will give your body an improvement. So go ahead! go to your nearest gym and work your way out to a better lifestyle.

Fruits are the best! Isn’t that right? Well, it is highly recommended to eat a variety of fruits every day. So why not serve yourself an apple or a banana beside your breakfast cereal? Remember? An apple a day keeps the doctors away?

It is important to give our body the rest that it needs especially in the night time. However, if you are a person who can never sleep at night due to night shift work. Then you should obviously rest in the daytime but we all know it’s hard. You may eat foods shown to help shift your body and mind into sleep mode. Foods like cherries, oatmeal, or chamomile tea can help you with that.

You may also try to darken your room, cover your windows and preventing it from emitting sunlight.

Don’t Rely Much on Supplements

Sure, supplements promise vitamins but some of them should be carefully evaluated for safety. Specific multivitamin supplements have been identified with toxicity, chemical reactions, and even increased risk of diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

So what can we do? Instead of taking supplements, why not rely more on eating healthy foods like vegetables and fruits as they are the main source of vitamins in the first place.

Many people don’t know how much this affects not only your physical state but also your mental state. Cleaning your body will not only make you look neat but will also make you not stressed out when you hang out with other people and that will make your mind healthy. So please, do us a favor. The main purpose of yoga is for spiritual development practices to train your body and mind to self observe and become aware of your own nature. It is to cultivate discernment, awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in the individual. Yoga is different from workout, keep that in mind.
